New school. New teachers. New atmosphere. Nerve wrecking?!
It doesn’t have to be, which is why I have created this “Back To School” guide for young people and their parents/guardians.
Anita (20) put this guide together as a way of easing any concerns that you may have about starting high school and to help those of you who are settling back into school life after a well deserved Summer break.
“School days are the best days of your life”
I know what you are probably thinking, “my mum tells me this all the time”. I can understand why you may not believe this at the moment, but from someone who has finished high school, I can assure you that they most certainly are.
Sometimes, they may not seem like the best days due to; peer pressure, homework, bullying. These obstacles CAN be overcome with fantastic support from friends, family and teachers. Your support networks will do their utmost best to ensure that you do have“the best days of your life”.
Within this guide you will read case studies from individuals who have been there done that and got the t-shirt in terms of high school. They have shared their honest experiences and advice to benefit you.
All that is left to say is, have fun, make friends and enjoy your time at high school, because it will all be over in the blink of an eye.
